Arena February 2026 — Powered Cube returns, Lorwyn Direct, Championship 11, and rebalances

February 10, 2026 — MTG Arena has a packed February. Arena Powered Cube returns February 10–March 2 with a new iteration of the supercharged draft format. Lorwyn Eclipsed Sealed Arena Direct runs February 13–15 — Best-of-One Sealed with prizes up to Lorwyn Eclipsed Play Booster boxes. And Arena Championship 11 is February 21–22: $250,000 prize pool, streamed on twitch.tv/magic. All of that sits on top of the February 9 Banned and Restricted update, which hit Historic, Timeless, and Alchemy. Here's the rundown.

Arena Powered Cube

The prodigal polygon is back. From February 10 through March 2 you can draft a new iteration of Arena Powered Cube — the format that throws high-powered cards from across Magic's history into one draft environment. Wizards published a design article the same morning as the announcements; if you want to know what's in the cube and why, that's the place to look. If you just want to slam drafts, fire up the client.

Lorwyn Eclipsed Arena Direct (Feb 13–15) and Championship 11 (Feb 21–22)

This weekend's Arena Direct is Lorwyn Eclipsed Sealed. Rack up wins in Best-of-One Sealed; prizes range from packs and gems up to Lorwyn Eclipsed Play Booster boxes while supplies last. Two weeks later, Arena Championship 11 brings elite players to the client for a $250,000 prize pool. Decklists, competitor lineup, and viewer guide will be shared ahead of the event. March Qualifier format is Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles Sealed — so the Universes Beyond set is already in the competitive pipeline.

Alchemy rebalances and B&R

The same announcement that brought Historic bans and Timeless Necropotence restricted also rebalanced 13 Alchemy cards. Kona, Rescue Beastie and Val, Marooned Surveyor were nerfed to address Best-of-One and Historic combo dominance; a batch of other digital cards got buffs (Lizards, Storm support, Bats, Mice, Polterheist, Ethrimik, Network Marauder, Prototype X-8, Sliver Weftwinder). Quick Draft and Flashback

Quick Draft: Through the Omenpaths February 9–22, then Lorwyn Eclipsed February 23–March 11. Flashback Draft: FINAL FANTASY February 10–16, Tarkir: Dragonstorm February 17–23, Avatar: The Last Airbender February 24–March 2. Midweek Magic includes Lorwyn Eclipsed Brawl Builder Challenge (Feb 10–12), Phantom Golden Pack Sealed (Feb 17–19), and Lorwyn Eclipsed Phantom Sealed (Feb 24–26). February season rewards deliver at the start of March — Spell Snare and Figure of Fable card styles for Mythic, Diamond, and Platinum.
