Referral program — share the site, get the credit

You’ve got a binder full of cards. You’ve got opinions about reprints. And you’ve got at least one friend who still trades in a parking lot and hopes for the best. We’d like to make that last part a little less sketchy — and give you a reason to point them our way.

Enter the referral program. We’re not going to bury the lead: you get a link, you share it, and when someone signs up through that link, they show up on your referral list. That’s it. No complicated tiers, no “invite ten people to unlock a badge.” Just you, your link, and the people who joined because you told them Hoardgate exists.

How it works

1. Log in and go to the referral dashboard.
2. Copy your personal referral link (it’s tied to your account).
3. Share it anywhere you like — Discord, Twitter, that group chat where everyone complains about card prices.
4. When someone clicks and registers, they’re counted as your referral. You can see the list right there on the same page.

We don’t ask you to spam. We don’t ask you to say nice things you don’t mean. We’re just saying: if you already tell your playgroup or your server about trackers and escrow and “hey, you could trade without trusting a stranger with an envelope,” now you’ve got a link that does the job and ties it back to you. What we do with that list — rewards, recognition, whatever comes next — is on us. Your job is to share the link when it makes sense.

Why we built it

Trading cards on the internet is still a trust game. A lot of people have been burned. Hoardgate exists because we think you should be able to track your collection, list your cards, and close deals with escrow so nobody has to go first and hope. The more people who know that’s an option, the better for everyone — and the referral program is our way of saying “if you’re the person who spreads the word, we want to know who you are.” It’s that simple.

So: get your link, share it with the right people, and keep those binders organized. Questions? You know where to find us — and now your friends do too.
