One Piece OP-07 and OP-08 — meta shifts and sealed overview
OP-07 "500 Years in the Future" and OP-08 "Two Legends" brought new leaders, characters, and strategies to the One Piece Card Game. Monkey D. Dragon, new support for established archetypes, and fresh mechanics continue to shape the meta. With Bandai's announcement of simultaneous worldwide releases starting in 2026, the gap between Japan and the West will shrink — but for now, these sets define the current competitive landscape. We're not calling a top or a bottom — we're laying out what these sets bring and what to watch.
OP-07 — 500 Years in the Future
OP-07 introduced new leaders and characters tied to the story's future arc. Monkey D. Dragon as a leader, support for Revolutionary Army and related themes, and new options for existing color pairings. The set shifted the meta in Japan before hitting the West; with simultaneous release on the horizon, that lag will eventually disappear.
OP-08 — Two Legends
OP-08 "Two Legends" continues the story and adds more leaders and support. The "two legends" theme suggests marquee characters — expect more high-profile cards that shape competitive play. Check official Bandai announcements and community resources for full card lists and meta reports.
Sealed and singles
OP-07 and OP-08 booster boxes, starter decks, and special products are available through normal retail channels. Chase leaders and SEC rares drive sealed value. If you need specific cards for a deck, singles are usually more efficient than cracking. If you're collecting or drafting, booster boxes are the main product. Check your LGS or major retailers for current OP-07 and OP-08 availability and pricing. We're not telling you to buy or sell — we're giving you the landscape. May your DON!! stack high and your attacks connect.
